Season's greetings - Phoenix

As the year comes to an end, the PHOENIX project reflects on an eventful and productive year. With 18 months of progress under our belt and the first reporting period successfully completed, we’ve made strides in our mission to advance battery research. The work is moving forward steadily, and there’s so much more in store for 2025.

Recharging batteries, both literally and metaphorically

In the spirit of our work, we’ll be taking a short holiday pause to recharge. The PHOENIX team will use this time to relax, connect with loved ones, and return energised for the new year’s challenges and opportunities.

During this festive period, don’t forget to explore our scientific papers in the Resources section of our website. They offer a deep dive into the innovative research we’re driving forward, perfect for some holiday reading.

Sustainable festivities

While celebrating, let’s stay mindful of sustainability: turn off those twinkling lights at night, and if you’re using battery-powered decorations or toys, choose eco-friendly batteries to keep the holiday spirit alive without impacting the planet.

See you in January!
